The ski resort of La Tzoumaz is part of the 4 Valleys ski area, which has 410km of ski runs. People enjoy the area for skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing, including one of the longest toboggans run in Europe: 10km long with a vertical fall of 848m. Three marked routes offer practitioners 13.5km of snow shoe trails.

In the summer, the resort of La Tzoumaz offers many activities such as mountain biking and hiking.

• the Verbier-La Tzoumaz Bikepark has five trails with a vertical fall of 700 m.

• The Maison de la Forêt is an exhibition space dedicated to local wildlife. It is also the start of the Sentier des Sens sensory trail.

• Take the Sentier des Sens to discover nature through sight, touch, hearing, smell and taste.

​

• Hikers can also explore the irrigation channels (bisses), including the Bisse de Saxon, which have run through the Valais since the Middle Ages, taking water from the highest peaks to the fields and orchards in the plain.
